I purchased a 1992 Honda Accord from this dealership that I found on Facebook Market Place. Olito, the salesman was great with communication and very friendly. He was able to help with with the financing and getting everything squared away with the purchase. After purchasing the car however I drove it up to the store and when I went to leave it would not start. Despite all my attempts to diagnose the problem and get it going again it wouldn't start. I ended up having to tow it home. I immediately contacted Olito at 11PM at night to tell him what had happened and He answered me back promptly even given the hour of night and talked over the problem with me and then put me in touch with the owner of the lot The next day. The owner was very friendly and more than willing to hear my issues and work with me on resolving them in a timely manner. He was out of town but He offered to pay for part of the repairs without hesitation. I had the car towed to a mechanic to be diagnosed. Upon diagnosing the vehicle the mechanic found that the car had a bad valve cover gasket and bad spark plug tube seals that caused large amount of oil to leak into the spark plug tubes coating the spark plug wires and the spark plugs in a large amount of oil. There was about a quarter of an inch of oil in two of the four spark plug tubes. This issue caused the spark plugs to not be able to fire which caused a severe misfire. These issues combined caused the vehicle to not be able to start. The mechanic also found that 5 of the valves were so loose that they most likely would have come apart and caused severe engine damage if not fixed soon. The mechanic changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, valve cover gasket, tube seals, did a full valve adjustment, and cleaned out the oil caused by the failed parts. All in all it cost me about 300 dollars for the parts and labor. I contacted the owner again today who answered me immediately and I discussed with him what the mechanic had found and what it had cost me to repair it. I asked him if he could help me out at all with the cost of the repairs at all. He immediately offered to pay me in full the amount of the repairs I had to pay out of pocket. The owner went above and beyond to help me with the issues I had with the vehicle I purchased from him. In no way did he have to do this and I am so grateful for him and his kindness. The car was purchased on a very tight budget and we could not afford to have something like this happen. I feel that most any other car lot would have told me I was on my own or worse. This car lot and it's owner have gone above and beyond in my mind to help myself and my family and I could not be more greatful. I highly recommend purchasing a car from them if you are in the market. From the customer service during the purchase to the kindness shown by the owner in completely covering all the repairs just demonstrates how much this company cares about the community and it's customers. The owner has assured me that as soon as he is back in town on Thursday he will have a Check waiting for me for the full amount of the repairs. To this I say thank you from all of my family. This is how every car buying experience should be.
